The Yellow Rose Sams’ chapter was organized in April 1992. We are currently based out of Amarillo, Texas. We enjoy camping, fellowship, playing games and of course, eating. During the months of March thru November, we meet once a month to camp at a location within 200 miles of Amarillo. For the months of December, January and February, we meet to play card games, visit, socialize, and enjoy a meal together either in Amarillo or in Channing, Texas.

During the year, we caravan to the Texas Good Sam rally. When possible, several of us also attend state rallies in our region (Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas & Missouri). We also choose a local charity to support with our December rig donation. 

You must be a member of Good Sams, be over the age of 18 and live in the Texas panhandle to meet eligibility requirements of joining our group. There is a yearly fee (only $20) for membership. If you are interested in joining our camping group, please send an email to bvj1217@gmail.com. This email belongs to our Assistant State Director for the panhandle region. We will notify you of our next upcoming meeting.
